Asigra to present Data Protection as a Service solution

Asigra Inc., announces a new enterprise-class service provider solution engineered to enable premier end-to-end data protection services. The Data Protection as a Service (DPaaS) solution built on NetApp technologies will be presented at the NetApp Cloud Services Summit being held in Berchtesgaden, Germany on 22nd and 23rd February. Eran Farajun, Asigra’s Executive Vice President, will be speaking at the event on the business benefits of DPaaS for tier 1 telcos. The solution combines the components required by service providers to deliver a ready-to-deploy service.

Unveiled recently, Asigra Cloud Backup™ v11.2 delivers deeper array snapshot integration, increased performance, service delivery enhancements and increased support for virtualisation and mobile devices. Featuring NetApp’s storage efficiency and Asigra’s award-winning cloud backup software, this integrated solution allows service providers to minimise operational costs, increase sales and benefit from strong marketing support. This combination gives its users an increased opportunity to gain market share by offering a flexible, secure and cost-effective service that meets stringent regulatory compliance requirements.

Its objectives include briefing the industry on trends and developments and increasing networking opportunities within the IT ecosystem.
