Hammer has opened its fourth European office, in the Netherlands.
The dedicated distributor’s newest subsidiary, in Almere, Netherlands, is the most recent addition to its current satellite offices in Brescia, Italy; Stockholm, Sweden; Mechelen, Belgium; and its headquarters in Basingstoke, UK.
Managing director of Hammer, James Ward, says: “We are thrilled to announce Hammer’s Netherlands office. Hammer is currently in its strongest ever position, adding more value to the market than ever before and we are currently celebrating our 20th anniversary, so the launch of another European office will fortify our current position, and further strengthen our brand across Europe.”
Paul Matravers, European and storage products director, says: “Hammer’s strong storage knowledge and expertise, combined with an actual presence in the region, will allow us to extend our renowned value added approach to customers in the Netherlands. The new office will be managed by Ivo Roersma, who says: “Through Hammer’s storage knowledge, world-class portfolio and support, I am looking forward to uncovering new markets and developing our current customer base in the Netherlands. We intend to fill the gap in the Dutch market with our expertise in innovative products, off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions, integration services and consultancy which, amongst others, we specialize in.”
Hammer’s Netherlands office includes training rooms and an auditorium, which will host demonstrations and meetings designed to enhance resellers’ storage knowledge, and to aid the development of customers’ bespoke solutions. Moreover, resellers can also utilise the facilities to host their own seminars, demonstrations and customer meetings with end users.
